The Toolbar


The various toolbar buttons enable IDoc segment and field selection, editing, and production of deliverables (i.e. Publish).


The Work Area


Multiple conversion project documents may be opened at the same time, and each appears as a tab along the top edge of the work area.


The work area is divided into subareas: LEFT, MAIN, RIGHT, and BOTTOM.


The list and sequence of fields presented in each area is configurable by the user, including field labels.


The relative size of each subarea may be changed simply by dragging the resize bars. The resize bar may be clicked to collapse (i.e. hide) a subarea entirely.



Left Area (Mapping Project)


The left work area includes three tabs.


Comments


An unlimited number of Project Comments may be maintained.  These comments can be included in the Mapping Document output.


Map


A configurable list of Mapping Project fields can be maintained using Field Manager.


Item


A configurable list of Segment or Field properties can be maintained using Field Manager.


When a Segment is selected in the Main Area, then Segment properties are displayed.


When a Field is selected in the Main Area, then Field properties are displayed.



Main Area


A configurable list of Segment or Field properties can be maintained using Field Manager.


This is the main data grid, which enables selecting Segments and Fields.



Right Area (Mapping Item)


The left work area includes two tabs.


Item


A configurable list of Segment or Field properties can be maintained using Field Manager.


When a Segment is selected in the Main Area, then Segment properties are displayed.


When a Field is selected in the Main Area, then Field properties are displayed.


Comment


A larger text box to maintain the Comment property of a Segment or Field.



Bottom Area (Item Detail)


When a segment is selected, all the fields in the segment are displayed in the Bottom Area.


When a field is selected, then details for the field are displayed in the Bottom Area.  There are two possibilities:
